Our Mission

"We at Second Chance Community Yard believe a new start can make all the difference. Men and women who have been through prison or jail have already been judged once by the system. If God gave them a chance to start over, why should we judge them again? We will not refuse them. We will not re-sentence them by turning our backs. We choose to give them — and every person experiencing homelessness — a real second chance, the same way God gave one to all of us. We cannot sit back and believe that the system or the government will do this alone. Real change comes from us — standing together, and helping change one life at a time."
