Our operating framework for veteran transitional housing
The Veterans Community Yard is designed to operate under the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Grant and Per Diem program — a capital grant readies each bus home, and a daily per diem sustains operations, so veterans stay at no cost while they stabilize and rebuild.
VA GPD awards require an active 501(c)(3). Our nonprofit's 501(c)(3) application has been filed (IRS determination pending); the program is structured to apply as soon as our determination letter is issued.
